2020 Bera Vittorio e Figli 'Arcese' Bianco Canelli - Piedmont, Italy (750ml)

Arcese is a field blend of two classic Piedmontese varietals, Arneis and Cortese–hence the playful mashup in the name– with additional Vermentino and Sauvignon Blanc added in smaller amounts. The fermentation is spontaneous with indigenous yeasts, and is finished in the bottle, giving this wine delicate, yet lively bubbles. It is refreshingly aromatic with bright notes of apricots and white peaches, a citrusy tang and a nutty finish. Easily gulpable, and a great pairing for any picnic, particularly if there is soft cheese served.
