The grapes are sourced from Kick-on Ranch, a vineyard located at one of the coldest and windiest sites in Santa Barbara County. The cooler climate allows grapes to ripen for longer, resulting in a juicy, fruit-forward wine with a bright streak of acidity. The grapes are harvested by hand and ferment with wild yeast before aging for 12 months in neutral French oak. With grippy tannins and a refreshing finish, this wine is a great match for casual dinner affairs, such as herby pork chops or butternut squash pasta.
