2019 Familia Mayol ‘Valle de Uco’ Malbec - Mendoza, Argentina (750ml)

From the slopes of Lujan de Cuyo, at over 900 meters in altitude, Mayol produces a classic Argentinian Malbec that’s medium-to-full bodied and juicy but not too heavy. The vineyards are sustainably farmed, hand-harvested and de-stemmed but not crushed in order to ensure freshness and purity of fruit. Ripe raspberry and black cherry flavors combine with earthy, toasty aromas and a hint of vanilla to create a well-knit wine with a silky texture that gives way to a firm, dry finish. Pairs perfectly with an all-out Argentinian Parrillada Mixta including sweetbreads and of course, chimichurri!
