2019 Domaine Ruet Régnié Les Bois - Beaujolais, France (750ml)

Ruet harvests their modest 2.5 hectare plots of Régnié Les Bois and Chez les Bois earliest, making it the lightest and crispest wine of their Domaine. They believe in Gamay done the old fashioned way, no pesticides, harvest done entirely by hand, and using semi-carbonic maceration in cement and stainless steel tanks. Aromas of geranium yield to fresh raspberry, black cherry and red currant flavors, followed by subtle earthiness and supple tannins. Pair with Momofuko’s spicy fried chicken or mild-to-moderately stinky cheese.
