Made up of 70% Viura and 30% Garnacha Blanco grapes, this wine was aged in a combination of stainless steel and new French oak. It has lovely fresh citrus scents followed by a whiff of flinty smoke on the nose. On the palate it’s medium bodied with moderate acidity, flavors of honeysuckle and stone fruits with a dash of salinity, a kiss of vanilla and the maturity of a five year old white. This serious, savory white is extremely versatile as it drinks beautifully alongside so many foods, such as Paella, fish stew, aged Asiago, or even spicy Chorizo.
