In Zulu, 'Indaba' means "meeting of the minds", or a community council where Ideas are shared. This Chenin Blanc has ripe melon and peach flavors, and it's as crisp and fresh as a Sauvignon Blanc, but with a rounder, softer texture and some lovely ‘wet stone’ minerality. Indaba wines began shortly after the reunification of the 'new' South Africa, and part of the proceeds of this producer go to fund a scholarship program for aspiring native South African wine makers. Pair with Madiba’s Kerrie Vis (pickled whiting sandwich) or Mozambican Prawns!
