Fazio is a modern, sustainable and carbon-neutral winery that was founded in 1998 though the family has been growing grapes and making wine for four generations. Brusio is a blend of 60% Carricante and 40% Catarratto from organically farmed vineyard down the slope of Erice. Harvested by hand, the grapes undergo a cold -maceration on their skins before being softly pressed and fermented in temprature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The result is a crisp yet complex wine that offers subtle notes of tropical fruit, white flowers and a touch of brine and flintiness. Pairs perfectly with freshly caught local Branzino or Caponata.
