Domaine Bordes is a small, 10 hectare domaine of old vines planted in the small hamlet of Tudery in the Saint Chinian appellation. Owned and operated by Emma and Philippe Bordes since 2000, they have been producing extraordinary wines by farming organically, and adding essentially nothing in the process to make beautiful natural wines. Their soils are an unusual mix of sand, limestone, and shale that convey unique flavors and characteristics to their wines. Les Narys cuvee is a medium bodied, earthy, well-balanced blend of 30% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 20% Carignan and 20% Mourvedre with notes of ripe raspberries with firm tannins and a hint of leather and eucalyptus. Pair with braised or roasted lamb, a Moroccan feast or Middle Eastern inspired meal featuring sumac and oil cured olives.
