Ciacci makes some of the most sought after Brunellos and his Rosso, affectionately referred to as a ‘baby Brunello’ is damn close at less than half the price. The wine comes from 100% Sangiovese that is aged in large, mostly-used Slovenian oak for 12 months. It's firm and balanced with bright, crisp red berry flavors, spicy notes and distinctive, granite minerality. This would pair wonderfully with a bowl of tagliatelle with Bolognese sauce.
