2019 Castello di Monastero Coenobium - Lazio, Italy

Cultivated using natural, biodynamic practices, this skin-contact wine is produced from a blend of indigenous grapes, Trebbiano, Malvasia, and Verdicchio, by the nuns of Monastero Suore Cistercensi in Umbria. Taking on a slightly tannic and dry structure, this is a delicious orange with earthiness, minerality, and an almost cider-like quality. A rare orange wine that actually gets better with age (or enjoy it in one sitting!). Serve alongside a range of aged hard cheeses, spicy slow-cooked lamb shoulder, or phad thai.
