2016 San Vitis Lazio Trebbiano - Lazio, Italy (750ml)

San Vitis is born from the love for wine of three friends, Sergio, Massimo and Riccardo, who joined their different working experiences to revitalize the growing of native vines in Lazio, a territory with thousands of years of wine history. This Trebbiano is grown organically and sees three days of skin contact before aging for eight months on the lees. The resulting wine is somewhere between white and orange. Medium plus bodied with slight oxidative notes, intense aromas of stone fruit and pear, and just a touch of tannin. Perfect with a roasted beet and burrata salad.
