An elegant, enticing Barolo that starts out silky and finishes dry and firm. The Nebbiolo grapes, all sustainably farmed, are sourced from some of the most presitgious parcels in Barolo - La Morra (50%), Monforte d’Alba, Serralunga, Verduno, and Barolo. This Barolo is aged for 6 months in small, used barrique followed by another 27 months in large, 3500 liter botte before release. Beautiful black cherry and raspberry notes with a hint of cedar, black tea and earthiness. It’s ready to enjoy now but will evolve beautifully for another decade. Pair with roast pork chops, wild boar or blanquette de veau with truffle cream sauce!
