Stroll Dates: Saturday & Sunday, May 16 & 17 | Times For Both Days: 12 to 6pm.

Gnarly Vines is proud to host the Fort Greene Photography Organization’s show “Yellow” during this year’s SONYA STROLL – one of the many events that make our neighborhood fabulous and unique. The Stroll is a leisurely two-day, self-guided stroll of SONYA members’ studios and neighborhood businesses that host our fine artists. To download a map, visit www.sonyaonline.org.

Stop by on either day to see the photographs, taste our specialty sakes and some great summer wines! Both days are free and open to the public.
On Saturday, May 16th there will be a wine tasting followed by the Artists’ Reception for the Sonya Stroll.
And on Sunday, May 17th there will be a Sake tasting. So come on by, it’s going to be Great!

sake yawaraka
Miyasaka Yawaraka Junmai – $22 – 720ml
Smooth and gentle, with a hint of wild plum. A familiar style.

Nigori Ginjo sake
Kamoizumi Nigori Ginjo – $27 – 500ml “Summer Snow”.
Unfiltered cloudy sake that’s slightly sweet, lively and voluptuous.

masumi ginjo sake
Masumi Yamahai Ginjo – $36 – 720ml – “Tanglewood”.
A traditional, robust style that can be served warmed or chilled.

junmai daignjo sake
Kamoizumi Junmai Daiginjo – $32 – 500ml “Autumnal Elixer”.
Flowery, earthy, deep and developed.
Daiginjo sakes are made with the central 50% of the rice grain,
making it the highest grade and most complex sake.
