Friday, Feb. 6, 6–9PM

2007 Maddalena Sauvignon Blanc – Paso Robles, CA – $15

Maddalena Sauvignon Blanc has bright citrus aromas with a touch of grassiness. The mouth is zesty and crisp with ripe flavors of citrus, green apple, and melon. The dry finish reveals slight mineral notes.

2004 San Simeon Cabernet Sauvignon – Paso Robles, CA – $28

Paso Robles is located in the central coast, halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco. It’s a great winemaking region due to its long, warm growing season and cool Pacific breezes. Check out this full-on, blackberry and spice bomb Cab Sauv!

2002 Cardeal Reserva, Touriga Nacional – Dao, Portugal – $13.50

Touriga Nacional is the major varietal in high end vintage port, but recently, has been making a name for itself as a dry table wine. Full-bodied, jammy, with a smooth, plush texture, this wine can easily stand up to bold, spicy flavors.

JAN. 16, 6–9PM

2008 Yellow + Blue Torrontes 1L – Cafayate, Argentina – $12.50

Organic, aromatic white from Yellow + Blue, the makers of our popular Malbec in a tetra-pack. Full-bodied lychee fruit flavors and crisp acidity – round, rich fruit gives the impression of sweetness with a dry finish. Feel great about an 80% reduction in the carbon footprint of the wine with no glass bottle and less weight during shipping.

2007 Kung Fu Girl Riesling – Columbia Valley, WA – $16

Apple aromas, crisp acidity with orange, lemon and tropical fruit flavors. A touch of CO2 and minerality create great structure in this single-vineyard, domestic Riesling. Kicks ass with Asian food!

2007 Castano Monastrell – Yecla, Spain – $10.50

Delicious, popular, easy drinking Monastrell (aka Mourvedre) from ungrafted vines in Spain’s high altitude Yecla dessert.

2006 Foradori Teroldego Rotaliano – Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy – $17 (per 375ml)

A ‘cousin’ of Syrah and Lagrein, Foradori’s Teroldego is a great winter wine – full-bodied with a smooth approach, ripe red and black berries, hints of black pepper and herbs with a firm, dry finish.

2007 Owen Roe Sharecropper’s Cabernet Sauvignon – Columbia Valley, WA – $27.50

An outstanding, hard-to-find, Washington State cab from three single vineyards in the Yakima Valley. Lots of deep, dark fruit balanced by great structure.
